Notes:

  • first-pass SiHV+NaI RQ data: TTree zip1 contains the SiHV channels, mapped to their proper Side 1 locations. TTree zip4 contains the two NaI waveforms in PA and PB. OF processing is not done on the NaI data so if zip1 is friended to zip4, OF-RQs will refer to SiHV without ambiguity. But RTFTwalk RQs need a specifier for detector, e.g. zip1.PAWKr50 versus zip4.PAWKRr50.
  • Second Pass, n125V changes: Use empirical templates for HV detector, turn on OptimalFilterPhonon1X2 for PT, turn off PS1*, PS2* calculations, adjust P_PEAK_WINDOW_MIN/MAX for DETECTOR 1(4) to 75e-6/25e-6(44.8e-6/358.4) to reduce noise wall(ignore first 8 bins), turn on P_OF(1×2)_DELAY_INTERPOLATE, change P_RTFT_PULLBACK from 150 to 1 for both detectors, update P_RELATIVE_CALIBRATION to these values, set P_BIAS DETECTOR 4 values negative for inverted NaI pulses, change P_BASELINE_MIN from 1 to 9 to avoid 8-bin glitch
    • 2-Template OF is enabled for PT with the standard PTOF template as the “primary” template and a linear template as “residual” as explained for v9 templates here and here. The relevant RQs are the primary amplitude “PTOF1X2Pamps” which should be interpreted as the pulse amplitude and the residual amplitude “PTOF1X2Ramps”, which is proportional to the baseline slope.
    • A second parallel calculation of the single template OF which results in symmetric noise distributions as discussed here is also present. The relevant rqs are “PTOFSamps”, “PTOFSchisq”, etc.

*Note that from the beginning of the run until 09/26, the NaI PMT bias was mistakenly set to 1.2 kV, even though the run diary records it as being set to 1.1 kV. This table lists the correct biases.

You can use these files to load data into a ROOT session using something like this:

//Load the series given a list of series names
TString seriesName
std::ifstream infile("/home/mast/cdms/analysis/run068/datasets/p40_bkg_2.txt");
int Nser_Off=0, Nser_Off_max=NserMax
while( (infile >> seriesName) && (Nser_Off < Nser_Off_max{
  z_Off[Nser_Off]->Add(Form("%s%s/umn_*.root",RQDir.Data(),seriesName.Data()));
  e_Off[Nser_Off]->Add(Form("%s%s/umn_*.root",RQDir.Data(),seriesName.Data()));
  Nser_Off++;
}
infile.close();
