Agenda
- Operations
- Run 62 (HV#4, Si) status:
- Noise runs: long trace randoms at varied HV, Nick has started to look at these
- n,gamma coincidence
- Pause in n,gamma for other studies:
- new QET bias scan to test dP/dI calculation
- Ge iZIP “pathfinder” - have proposed a bonding scheme to connect all 12 phonon channels for readout.
- Detector has been determined to fit (tightly) in housing, may bump DIBs when cold
- Fab still waiting for Tc verification. Samples indicate Tc lower than 45 mK target. Mark P is apparently making new samples to test. Tc may depend on thickness, he's adjusting that.
- Paul estimates an ETA of June 10, 2.5 weeks from now (no new reports this week…)
- Future 6“ run (1”-thick 5Q device). Detector now at UMN, needs to be wirebonded
- Continued K100 support through both Project and Operations - assume no SNOLAB upgrade
- exploring ideas for improvements without upgrade: float DCRCs for symmetric biasing Proposed Scheme, decrease Rshunt in SQUETs
- Processing and Analysis
- Run 61, HV#2 (Ge): noise/resolution studies
- Run 60, 6“ detector paper - Plan to edit and publish without 5Q data
- Run 56, iZIPv6 analysis
- Physics
- low-energy Comptons and n,gamma calibrations with external triggering
- Old/continuing items:
- Lab infrastructure
- DAQ and data pipe
- DAQ upgrade - discussed with Bruno about IbIs tool development
- Data storage and backup:
- Need to copy all Run 60 and some Run 61 data to SLAC
- Autoprocessing and data organization development:
- currently autoprocessing suspended, no “official” processing for Runs 60, 61, 62
- clean up database - some info missing. Consider adding additional info
- Possible plan to modify DCRCs (resistor swap) so we can increase front-end gain, improve IbIs (suggestion from Bruno)
- IF (not likely) new DCRC RevC.2 arriving from Bruce in Denver then
- missing resistors on 3 QET channels, we've ordered some
