Agenda
- Operations
- Run 62 (HV#4, Si) status:
- Noise runs: long trace randoms at varied HV, still need to be analyzed
- n,gamma coincidence data in progress. Improved read efficiency by reducing charge channel trace lengths.
- n,gamma coincidence first plots
- Ge iZIP “pathfinder” - have proposed a bonding scheme to connect all 12 phonon channels for readout. Current ETA is 3.0 weeks min from now.
- Detector has been determined to fit (tightly) in housing, may bump DIBs when cold
- Fab still waiting for Tc verification. From Mark Platt on Tuesday: “I have been recieving mixed results on the same samples. The latest result Paul sent last night shows my TC at 32mK. I am making some new samples and sending them now that the Blue Fors is back up. I apologize for the delay in starting but I need to be sure of TC before starting this crystal. I will keep you posted. I am chomping at the bit to start this as well.”
- Future 6“ run (1”-thick 5Q device). Detector now at UMN, needs to be wirebonded
- Continued K100 support through both Project and Operations - assume no SNOLAB upgrade
- exploring ideas for improvements without upgrade: float DCRCs for symmetric biasing Proposed Scheme, decrease Rshunt in SQUETs
- Lab infrastructure
- vuk1/vuk2 are retired
- Processing and Analysis
- Run 61, HV#2 (Ge) analysis
- Run 60, 6“ detector paper - Plan to edit and publish without 5Q data
- Run 56, iZIPv6 analysis
- Physics
- low-energy Comptons and n,gamma calibrations with external triggering
- Old/continuing items:
- DAQ and data pipe
- DAQ upgrade - discussed with Bruno about IbIs tool development
- Data storage and backup:
- Need to copy all Run 60 and some Run 61 data to SLAC
- Autoprocessing and data organization development:
- currently autoprocessing suspended, no “official” processing for Runs 60, 61, 62
- clean up database - some info missing. Consider adding additional info
- Possible plan to modify DCRCs (resistor swap) so we can increase front-end gain, improve IbIs (suggestion from Bruno)
- IF (not likely) new DCRC RevC.2 arriving from Bruce in Denver then
- missing resistors on 3 QET channels, we've ordered some
