Agenda
- Operations:
- Run 59 progress:
- new mu-metal tests, making more sense now
- Run 59 (G106a) other tasks:
- further HV tests: measure charge leakage, maybe see if presence of He films affects HV behavior
more data for position reconstruction studies - multiple Am sources in different positionsPossibly test DCRC RevD with adapter board from UCB.- May want to study phonon noise more.
- Future runs:
- 6“ contact-free (aka vacuum interface) - thinking about ending Run59 early enough to squeeze this in next
- HV prototype tests for project
- Now they want us to do two of these by end of year
- Expected to get the first in September
- We will want to build the second HV board to switch bias/readout polarity (Nick has ordered components)
- DAQ and data pipe
- Data storage and backup:
- Need to copy over new Run 59 data
- Need to set up a system for copying incoming data
- Need to clean up vuk1/vuk2 before they are retired
- Code education: Nick has done some work to understand randoms selection for noise calculation
- Processing and Analysis
- Run 58 (USD1): Take another look in prep for R&D meeting
- What should we plan to publish?
- Things not working…
- Update on IVC leak to bath
- Working around the bad charge channel
- fixed processing failure caused by noisy channel, also have been running with FETs off which reduces noise
- Physics
- Low-energy NR peaks from neutron capture in Ge
