Agenda

  • Operations
    • Run 62 (HV#4, Si) status:
      • Still only using two DCRCs, Berkeley will send us one for next run
        • Tested DCRC“X” finally after return from Sten, did not flatline, so far seems OK
      • Further analysis of 50V data, update on spectra, resolutions
      • Noise runs: long trace randoms at varied HV, still need to be analyzed
      • Planning n,gamma PuBe setup with external trigger
    • Ge iZIP “pathfinder” - have proposed a bonding scheme to connect all 12 phonon channels for readout. Current ETA is three weeks min from now.
      • Delay in fab because Tc samples (target 45 mK) have not been tested. Problem with diameter, may not fit in housing…
    • Future 6“ run (1”-thick 5Q device)
    • Continued K100 support through both Project and Operations - assume no SNOLAB upgrade
      • exploring ideas for improvements without upgrade: float DCRCs for symmetric biasing, decrease Rshunt in SQUETs
  • Lab infrastructure
  • Processing and Analysis
    • Run 61, HV#2 (Ge) analysis:
      • should continue to refine phonon collection efficiency estimate (original synopsis)
      • Update on position reconstruction and multiple-template fitting
      • Will continue HV#2 report at Friday Tower Technical Meeting
      • Nick and Matt will present at first SNOLAB Analysis meeting on Friday 1pm Central
    • Run 60, 6“ detector paper - Plan to edit and publish without 5Q data
    • G106a iZIPv6 analysis status
  • Physics
    • low-energy Comptons and n,gamma calibrations with external triggering
  • Old/continuing items:
    • DAQ and data pipe
      • DAQ upgrade - discussed with Bruno about IbIs tool development
      • Data storage and backup:
        • Need to copy all Run 60 and some Run 61 data to SLAC
      • Autoprocessing and data organization development:
        • currently autoprocessing suspended, no “official” processing for Runs 60, 61, 62
        • clean up database - some info missing. Consider adding additional info
    • Possible plan to modify DCRCs (resistor swap) so we can increase front-end gain, improve IbIs (suggestion from Bruno)
    • IF (not likely) new DCRC RevC.2 arriving from Bruce in Denver then
      • missing resistors on 3 QET channels, we've ordered some
