Agenda

  • Operations
    • Run 62 (HV#4, Si) status:
      • Still only using two DCRCs, Berkeley will send us one for next run
      • Further analysis of 20V data, 60 keV peak and probably lower Am peaks seen
      • Noise runs: long trace randoms at varied HV, still need to be analyzed
      • Possible external trigger setups before end of run: Compton, n,gamma
    • Ge iZIP “pathfinder” - have proposed a bonding scheme to connect all 12 phonon channels for readout. Current ETA is three weeks from now.
      • some talk about Tc's… 35 mK would be too low… Mark P said something about a 55 mK recipe…
    • Future 6“ run (1”-thick 5Q device)
    • Discussions of continued CDMS Operations-supported running, either with or without SNOLAB upgrade
      • exploring ideas for improvements without upgrade: float DCRCs for symmetric biasing, decrease Rshunt in SQUETs
  • Lab infrastructure
    • Need to clean up vuk1/vuk2 before they are retired. Haven't been able to get in touch with Angie about the data she said she'd copy. Anthony's stuff is backed up, final verification on LIGO stuff.
  • Processing and Analysis
    • Run 61, HV#2 (Ge) analysis:
      • should continue to refine phonon collection efficiency estimate (original synopsis)
      • Supposed to give HV#2 report at Friday Tower Technical Meeting
      • Update on position reconstruction and multiple-template fitting - SNOLAB analysis meeting Friday at 11AM
    • Run 60, 6“ detector paper - Edit and publish or wait for 5Q?
    • G106a iZIPv6 analysis status- Run 56 data weirdness
  • Physics
    • low-energy Comptons and n,gamma calibrations with external triggering
  • Old/continuing items:
    • DAQ and data pipe
      • DAQ upgrade - should ask Bruno about new IbIs tool
      • Data storage and backup:
        • Need to copy all Run 60 and some Run 61 data to SLAC
      • Autoprocessing and data organization development:
        • currently autoprocessing suspended, no “official” processing for Runs 60, 61, 62
        • clean up database - some info missing. Consider adding additional info
    • Possible plan to modify DCRCs (resistor swap) so we can increase front-end gain, improve IbIs (suggestion from Bruno)
    • IF (not likely) new DCRC RevC.2 arriving from Bruce in Denver then
      • missing resistors on 3 QET channels, we've ordered some
