Noise PSDs at various TES states
| Data taken on 2015 Oct 08 DIB1 and DIB3: Rev C.1, total output gain = 16, front-end gain = 5 DIB2: Rev C, total output gain = 15, front-end gain = 2 0 charge bias DCRCs stacked DCRCs spread out |
Comments:
- There was rather prominent ~250 Hz noise during these tests (typically we avoid this pattern when taking data).
- In all cases the spread-out arrangement improves low frequency noise (including the peak)
- In most cases the stacked arrangement worsens the mid-frequency noise
- DIB1 was more affected by stacking (compared to side-by-side) than the other two DIBs
- Stacking had a weaker effect in these tests than on the September 24 tests. In the previous case the DCRCs were separated only by a couple of pieces of paper; in the current case they were separated by pads of paper.
