Previous Day

Setup: DIB1/3/4 → 3.2 MHz filters 3/1/2 → cable 3/1/2 →gender changer 3/1/2 → HVConn 1/3/2 → HV 1/2 → DCRC55/DCRC33
PuBe source in paraffin barrel behind shield (west side)
Took NaI-triggered data overnight @50V, looks ok
0855 Tower = 33.1 mK, main bath = 36.1%
0855 HV = 49.99 V, Vtest = 5.0 mV → Vdetector = 47.8 V
0900 Fill LN2 cold trap bath.
0909 Start 1 1-hour data series of 1-sided 50V HV coincidence data with Frontend Gain = (15/15/4)/(3/5/2), OG = 4/2, QET biases = table from Apr 28, with 1000 beginning randoms, no flashing, and a 6ADC bin threshold trigger on DCRC1 pA (Side1 pE). Running OR trigger of NaI detectors with PuBe source on west side of shield. NaI detector C has 311 mV threshold and detector B has 288 mV threshold
1125 Dial HV down to 0 V
1135 Begin 30 minute bake on DCRCs 1&2
1248 Start LHe transfer (MB = 30.0%)
1250 Tower/MC/Coldplate = 33.8/31.3/194 mK, Still = 1.3 K / 0.110 mbar, G1/G2 = 236/221 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.684 K / 28 mbar. Main Bath = 30.0%. Boil off rate: slow mode (predicted level: 30.1%)
1350 Noticed that on DCRC2pD the oscillatory noise around 10kHz may actually get better when the front-end gain is increased from 2 back to 4 (an older setting). Of course there's more noise above 100kHz at the higher front-end gain but that's not as much of a problem. We'll try running that way.
1440 Transfer is going very slowly for unknown reasons. But the level is going up at a constant rate. According to this rate it will finish around 15:30, almost 3 hours total. Maybe the transfer stick is partially blocked.
1528 Finish LHe transfer @ MB = 90.7%
1530 Dial HV up to 65 V. After 5 minutes dial HV down to 50.00 V.
1545 HV = 50.00 V, Vtest = 3.0 mV → Vdetector = 48.7 V
1547 Start 1 1-hour data series of 1-sided 50V HV coincidence data with Frontend Gain = (15/15/10)/(4/5/4), OG = 4/2, QET biases = table from Apr 28, with 1000 beginning randoms, no flashing, and a 6ADC bin threshold trigger on DCRC1 pA (Side1 pE). Running OR trigger of NaI detectors with PuBe source on west side of shield. NaI detector C has 311 mV threshold and detector B has 288 mV threshold
1650 HV = 50.00 V, Vtest = 2.0 mV → Vdetector = 49.1 V
1650 Start 17 1-hour data series of 1-sided 50V HV coincidence data with Frontend Gain = (15/15/10)/(4/5/4), OG = 4/2, QET biases = table from Apr 28, with 1000 beginning randoms, no flashing, and a 6ADC bin threshold trigger on DCRC4 pA (TTL signal). Running OR trigger of NaI detectors with PuBe source on west side of shield. NaI detector C has 311 mV threshold and detector B has 288 mV threshold
1700 Fill LN2 cold trap bath
