Previous Day

Status Turbo pumping IVC overnight. Still need to clean mixture. Still need to pump out main bath vacuum jacket.
0750 IVC = 120 e-6mbar pumping, 14 e-3mbar with pump valved out. These are about twice as high as last time.
0805 DIB2 electrical checkout looks good. Leakages to chassis are lower now that the IVC is under vacuum: QET and Qbias are around 0.5 nS, SQUID A around 0.6 nS. All others around 0.1 nS. Perhaps the leakages are humidity related.
0815 DIB1 electrical checkout looks good. Similarly leakages to chassis are lower now, previously 6 nS now more like 0.5 nS for QETs and Qbiases and SQUID C and Feedback C. All others around 0.1 nS.
0825 DIB3 electrical checkout looks good. Similarly leakages to chassis are lower now, previously 6 nS now more like 0.5 nS for QETs and Feedback B. All others around 0.1 nS. Confused that Q feedback/drain and feedback/source are <1 nS instead of typical 23 nS, but doesn't matter since there are no charge channels on DIB3.
0855 Remove clean tent from fridge area
0910 Finish retightening IVC bottom screws.
0910 IVC = 100 e-6mbar pumping, 12 e-3mbar with pump valved out.
0915 Start pumping IVC with leak detector. Initial leak about 50 pbarL/s but settling downward
0920 Leak detector = 10 pbarL/s
0940 Leak detector = 9.2 pbarL/s and steady
1000 Leak checked all connections. No leaks found. Leak rate smoothly rose to 10 pbarL/s over 20 mins.
1132 Turn on 3He pump, commence pumping fridge lines to dump. Open v9, G2 stabilizes at 772 mbar. Isolate P1 = 2.6 mbar. Open v1, v5, v6 and gate valve.
1309 P1 = 16 ubar, G2=782 mbar. Isolate fridge lines, close all IGH valves, turn off 3He pump.
1345 Pump out Main Bath.
1350 IVC pressure at 8.6E-5mbar. Switch over to pumping with leak checker in preparation for flushing Main Bath with He gas.
1400 Background leak rate at 9.6E-9 mbarL/s. Begin flushing Main Bath with He gas. After flushing, background leak rate at 1E-8 mbarL/s.
1410 Fill IVC with 5.4mbar of He gas.
1420 Isolate IVC and remove bellows from pumping manifold. Attach far end of bellows to Dewar Jacket manifold and commence pumping out Dewar Jacket.
1428 Valve to dewar jacket opened fully. External pressure sensor kept below 1E-2 mbar.
1435 Pumped out Trap 2, had about 5 mbar left in it from last night. Put both LN2 traps in bath and fill bath.
1440 Main bath Dewar jacket = 2.5e-3 mbar pumping, 1.0e-1 mbar with pump valved out
1502 Commence LN2 transfer.
1545 MC(Cernox) = 210 K. Main bath Dewar jacket = 3.4e-6 mbar pumping, 4.0 e-5 mbar with pump valved out. Big drop after LN transfer began, must have been mostly air in there.
1555 Begin cryocleaning mixture through Trap 2. V6 open to 12.8%. 15min later it looks like flow is low, increase V6 to 12.9%.
1605 MC(Cernox) = 170 K, Sorb = 180 K. Main bath Dewar jacket = 2.5e-6 mbar pumping
1620 MC(Cernox) = 155 K, Sorb = 154 K. Main bath Dewar jacket = 2.2e-6 mbar pumping
1621 MC(Cernox) = 152 K, Sorb = 150 K. Main bath Dewar jacket = 2.2E-6 mbar pumping. LN2 resistor measurement reads 1.34kOhm. Cease LN2 transfer.
1650 MC(Cernox) = 129 K, Sorb = 126 K. Main bath Dewar Jacket = 3.4E-6 mbar pumping. Cease cryocleaning. Pump mixture to dump.
1720 Cease pumping to dump. G2 has reached 785mbar. Isolate dump and turn off He3 pump.
