Agenda
- Operations:
- Run 59 results and post-mortem:
- HV test results
- Leak into IVC seems to have been from dilution unit, as discovered prepping for Run 60
- Short that we thought was in side coax seems to have been in gender changer. This is a bit confusing, need to see whether this makes sense.
- Leak in dilution unit
- First discovered at 77K with LD pumping on IVC and mixture let into fridge. Not seen at room temperature.
- With LD on fridge and IVC sealed, filling IVC to 1 atm with He produced small increase in leak. Repeatable - pumping out IVC made leak go down again.
- With IVC open, LD on fridge, squirt tests and bag tests were inconclusive.
- Since MC is the part that is under stress, supporting the weight of the tower, chose to redo MC seal
- Future runs:
- first HV prototype test
- Current ETA is end of September. Fab at TAMU is finished, will be mounted next week and sent to SLAC for wirebonding, then sent to us
- Wirebonding scheme, may not be able to access all side 2 phonon channels
- If dilution leak is fixed soon, may still be time for short 6“ detector test
- another interesting discovery: some SQUET cards swap QET bias and return. (This is usually unnoticeable except when we want to specifically use QET return as ground reference.)
- DAQ and data pipe
- Data storage and backup:
- Need to copy over Run 59 data and set up a system for copying incoming data
- Need to clean up vuk1/vuk2 before they are retired
- Autoprocessing and data organization development:
- should work on implementing smart processing so that data with different configurations can be processed automatically
- should add more info to database, particularly since outside analysis manpower (TAMU, Noah) will be joining our analysis crew
- does it make sense for outside manpower to help with this stuff?
- Processing and Analysis
- Update on NSOF
- Should test whether resolution is improved with new filtering
- Then work on reprocessing old data
- Physics
- Low-energy NR peaks from neutron capture in Ge
