| 1344 | Check contents of warm LN2 Trap 1: 13.5 on G1. Pump it out with the scroll pump. |
|---|---|
| 1347 | G1 = 2.3 mbar and stable, stop pumping on Trap 1 |
| 1354 | Insert cold trap 1 into and begin filling the LN2 cold trap dewar with LN2 |
| 1403 | Begin cryocleaning mixture through cold trap 1 following the procedure in procedure:cryoclean_mixture |
| 1410 | Open V6 to 11.9% to restart flow |
| 1411 | Raise Main bath |
| 1419 | Open V6 to 12.1% to restart flow |
| 1423 | Begin installing bolts for main bath, starting with the 2 large, then medium, then small |
| Just installing the bolts in order usually results in some small bolts not fitting well, I managed to fit all small bolts flush this time with a more complicated technique. | |
| After installing the large and medium bolts flush, then installing the small bolts partway, I loosened the medium and large bolts and dropped the main bath a very small amount, making sure that the small bolts would still not bear the weight. | |
| Then I screwed the small bolts flush, raised the bath a small amount, and repeated until the cables holding the bath up were tight. | |
| Then I alternated between tightening the medium bolts and small bolts until both sets were snug, finally I tightened the large bolts and let off a little tension in the cables. | |
| 1458 | Open V6 to 12.3% to restart flow |
| 1509 | End cryocleaning mixture through trap 1. Pump mixture to dump |
| 1522 | P1 = 0.140 mbar, G1 = 1.8 mbar and stable. Close all valves and turn off 3He pump, leaving 714.4 mbar in dump |
| 1524 | Remove cold trap 1 from the LN2 bath to warm up overnight |
| 1528 | Bring Californium source to the 4th floor lab using the lead+poly transport cylinder. |
