  • Lab in-personnel: Giulia, Zach, Matt
Status Run 76 in progress
Setup Cables 2/3/1 → diverter/nothing/nothing → Side2-readout HV CONN 1/3/2 → HV 1(L)/2(R) → DCRC50(3)/DCRC55(1), DCRC33(2)→HV control, NaI trigger signal → DCRCX(4)
Lead/poly shield fully assembled. Boron-filled socks covering NaI detectors.
PuBe behind lead wall on West side of lead/poly shield.
NaI trigger window: 7.6-11.2 MeV
Cooled to base 2 days ago after fourth 5K pumpout.
1020 MC/Coldplate = 28.1/148 mK, Still = 1.12 K / 0.110 mbar / 0 mW, G1/G2 = 159/147 mbar, 1K Pot = 60° / 1.59 K / 15±1 mbar, MB = 30.1 %
1035 Fill LN2 cold trap bath
1320 Begin LHe transfer @ MB = 25.6%
1405 End LHe transfer @ 94.2%
1500 Look at phonon traces - looking good. All show good pulses at previous QET biases. Some already had baselines around -0.8V, others had to have their offsets adjusted.
To understand the NaI-coincident spectrum, let's take NaI-triggered data at different biases. Already have some at -85V. Let's do some 0V.
1510 Start 0 V PuBe data series 62 min long, SiHV-triggered, with 1000 initial randoms, 5 Hz in-run randoms, trigger on DCRC1pB threshold 10.

1614 Start 0 V PuBe data series 183 min long, NaI-triggered, with 1000 initial randoms, 5 Hz in-run randoms, trigger on DCRC4pA threshold 20.
Start series with the Start Button
The series looks like it's going but I don't think any data is being written. The raw data disk, /data/cdms1, seems to be inaccessible. Abort MIDAS run.
Looking later it seems to have worked, 183 dumps.
1920 Pulses look OK
1930 Pulses showing weird wiggles, maybe first sign of helium film problems. Some look wider than normal. The higher bias data we took for the ladder calibration had wide pulses… should check, maybe those were late in the pumpout-period and their were He problems we were unaware of.
2020 Baselines high, pulses weak
2145 Pulses super weak.
