- Lab in-personnel: Matt, Himangshu, Shubham
| Status | Run 76 prep. All mixture in dump. LHe Trap and LN2 Trap 1 still have contaminants. Cryostat Vacuum Jacket pumped out. Tower removed. |
|---|---|
| 1300 | Starting to plan tower assembly. The tower faces that have four good phonon channels are 2,3,4,5. If we could have 3 staggered faces for the SQUETs we would but we can't with 1 and 6 bad, so we'll use 2,3,5 like last time. But unlike last time it seems to make sense to use Face 6 for accessories, with the interposer then plugged into the SQUET at Face 5, which doesn't have any adjacent SQUETs. Face 6 has bad Pin5 so we need to skip that one. |
| It may be better to have the stripline with accessories be the one that plugs into CONN1 on the HV box - this would make the warm accessory wiring more convenient. That would mean that Face5 should be connected to the DIB1 channels. Which is actually the same as Run75 (but now the interposer will be at Face5 rather than Face3). | |
| The chosen setup: Accessories at Face 6, meaning 2D source mover striplines at Face 6. This puts 2D source mover 0-direction at Face 4. DIB1 at Face 4 (so source 0-direction is detector -y direction Phonon channel wiring same as last run, so DIB1 channels connect to Face 5 Accessory interposer will connect at Face 5 |
|
| note: as viewed from above tower face numbering goes counterclockwise | |
| 1450 | Assemble stack on tower, S104 in position 1 with DIB1 above Face 4, 2D source mover in position 2 with motor coil striplines above Face 6 |
| 1500 | Begin connecting twisted pairs to DIB channels |
| 1500 | Wrap teflon tape around new Goldman thermometer connectors |
| 1525 | Finish detector and source mover connections to tower |
| 1530 | Perform quick electrical check, all looks good. |
| 1540 | Secure wires down against tower spool with kapton tape (avoiding sticking directly to wires and tower using “bandaid” technique) |
| 1600 | Complete electrical check at tower, looks good. |
| 1605 | Cut connector for accessory interposer to accommodate current wiring. At Face 6, Pins 1/2/3/4 → Mover Y1/2/3/4, Pins 6/7/8/9 → Mover X1/2/3/4, Pins 12/13 → Piezo 1/2 |

Notes:
- All phonon channels are within a couple of Ohm of the Run 75 checkout except Face3pD which is Side1pF, the one that was rewirebonded. It reads about 60 Ohm less, same as in the wirebonder lab.
- Same-side interchannel resistances are all smaller than opposite-side interchannel resistances
- Maybe should recheck more carefully for shorts, and maybe check resistances of LEDs.
| 1715 | Check contents of warm LN2 Trap 1: ~ 50 mbar. It may have been more - I didn't have the speedivalve closed, and while I was pumping out the G1 volume I seemed to be pumping out of the trap too, because apparently we were leaking through V12a. Pump out with scroll pump. |
|---|---|
| 1725 | Check contents of warm LN2 Trap 2: 59 mbar. (actually a little confused here too - I think I checked before opening the speedivalve.) Pump out with scroll pump. |
| 1735 | Check contents of warm LHe trap: 140 mbar, wow. Pump out with scroll pump. |
