  • Lab in-personnel: Zach
Status Run 75 in progress
Setup Tower Faces 5/3/2 → Cables 2/1/3 → nothing/diverter_board+extra_board/nothing → Side2-readout HVboard CONN1/2/3 → HV1/2 → DCRC55(1)/50(3)
Lead shield in place. Am Source y = 0.03 mm
Testing Side2-readout HV board
1435 Goldman/Tower/MC(H35)/Coldplate = 40.3/68.6/33.3/169 mK, Still = 1.18 K / 0.110 mbar / 0 mW, G1/G2= 236.7/268.0 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.59 K / 11±1 mbar, MB = 31.8%
1451 Begin LHe transfer @ MB = 31.1%
1508 Filled LN2 cold trap bath
1425 Ended LHe transfer @ MB = 91.8%
Channel dIb/d(dPdI)g
Side2pA 22.0947
Side2pB 43.3774
Side2pC 14.8655
Side2pD 41.8226
Side2pE 23.5326
Side2pF 13.5228
The table above shows calculations from IbIs showing how much the dP/dI varies with QET bias near the operating point. I'll use these to try data at a different dP/dI.
2030 The Goldman thermometer is not plugged in so I don't know the tower temperature. We'll assume it's 40.4 mK like it was before the transfer started.
2040 Reset QET biases to target dP/dI = 0.9 uV (rather than previous 1.0 uV). Adjust driver offset so set baselines near -0.9 V.
2047 Dial HV up to 113.3 V using RootSequencer for prebias
2053 After 5 minutes dial HV down to 98.5 V
2057 Start 98.6 V data series after 5 min 15% prebias, 42 min long, with 1000 initial randoms, no in-run randoms, trigger on DCRC3pB threshold 10.
Start series with the Start Button.
Bias varied from 98.54 to 98.64 V during series, mostly trending upwards.
2140 Dial HV down to 0V after data series ends
