| | overnight: base temperature has been wavering between 32 and 35 mK, not as stable as before. Seems to have changed since yesterday's transfer. Our last problem with base temperature seemed to start after a transfer too. In that case the stick was inserted almost completely after almost no pre-cool. During yesterday's transfer the stick was lowered somewhat early during the precool rather than waiting with it just barely inserted. It could be that these thermal shocks are producing problems. |
