Previous Day

Setup: DIB1/3/4 → 3.2 MHz filters 2/3/1 → cable 3/1/2 → gender changer 3/?/2 → HVConn 1/3/2 → HV 1/2 → DCRC55(1)/DCRC50(3)
overnight: 0-40V bias scan with flashing. It looks like the sequence finished and completed the final flash. Sometime later MIDAS seems to have crashed.
0931 Tower/MC/Coldplate = 36.3/31.8/199 mK, Still = 1.40 K / 0.110 mbar, G1/G2 = 153/148 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.50±0.01 K / 5.5±0.5 mbar. MB = 39.9%
0935 Fill LN2 cold trap full
0938 MIDAS crashed sometime early this morning. None of the MIDAS processes are running. Run kill_daq_umn.sh anyway. It gives a bunch of messages of the form “[ODBEdit,INFO] Client 'mserver' on buffer 'SYSMSG' removed by bm_open_buffer because process pid 150506 does not exist” for each process. Run start_daq_umn.sh and MIDAS is running again. The programs are off and the sequence says it is complete. Bias is set to 0 with the HV supply turned off. DCRC4 settings are consistent with this.
0945 Restart DCRC programs.
1342 Start LHe transfer (MB = 34.1%)
1445 End LHe transfer (MB = 89.0%)
1600 Fill LN2 cold trap full
1620 Start sequence of 8 30-minute background data series at HV = 100V, with 1% prebias for 5 min (remote HV not calibrated above 100V), Driver Gains = 2x, QET biases = 290/270/315/140/315/310 uA, Front-End Gains = 10, 1000 initial randoms, trigger on DCRC3pB/C/D threshold = 10/20/20, 30s flash, 30min cooldown, using sequencer script DataLoop_100V-1_5PreBias-30Flash-30Wait-30minData.msl. Tower = 35.6 mK. Channels started railing immediately
