Previous Day

Setup: DIB1/3/4 → SL 27/19/20 → 3.2 MHz filters → cables 2,1,3 → HV board inputs 1,3,2 → HV board outputs 1,2 → DCRC55(1)/50(3). Also DCRC4 is powered and hooked up to control the HV setting.
0830 Tower = 263 kΩ (22.9 mK), Still = 0.100 mbar, G1/G2 = 260/236 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.62 K / 24 mbar, MB = 72.1%
0835 Fill LN2 cold trap bath
0845 Jesse from IT replaced the power supply in the Windows machine vuk-01. Seems to be booting up now.
1015 Perform manual IbIs on DCRC1pB. This channel has a strange IbIs curve - at high bias currents it doesn't begin to slope downwards as it should when it is driven normal. Took the current all the way to 1000 uA, and it basically just flattened out at a maximum. Previously I had attributed this to some problem related to the 13 kHz oscillations, but this channel doesn't really seem to have a bad oscillation problem except maybe very near the bottom of the transition. It's weird behavior.
Interestingly the Tower temperature became a little less stable during the IbIs. It was flat at about 22.7 mK, then become noisier with a scatter of a few 10ths of a mK.
1622 Start Noise HV scan sequence HVscan-0_20V-15_5PreBias-30Flash-5wait-1hrData.msl Sequence takes data at 0, 10, 20 V HV biases with 15% prebias for 5 min and 30s flash with 5 min wait between each 1 hr series. Random triggering. QETbias = (DCRC1PA/PB/PC)/(DCRC3PB/PC/PD) = (480/370/510)/(470/380/500). Cooldown time is short to observe baseline shifts during post-flash cooldown.
1634 Fill LN2 cold trap full.
1645 Data is not being copied to chocula. Stop the run. Restart MIDAS.
1648 Start Noise HV scan sequence HVscan-0_20V-15_5PreBias-30Flash-5wait-1hrData.msl Sequence takes data at 0, 10, 20 V HV biases with 15% prebias for 5 min and 30s flash with 5 min wait between each 1 hr series. Random triggering. QETbias = (DCRC1PA/PB/PC)/(DCRC3PB/PC/PD) = (480/370/510)/(470/380/500). Cooldown time is short to observe baseline shifts during post-flash cooldown.
1649 Now the data is being copied. Maybe the logger needed to be restarted.
1819 HV = 9.94 V, V_leak = 0.39 mV
1915 HV = 19.95 V, V_leak = 0.86 mV
1930 DCRC3 PC,PD are railed low. Adjust their driver offsets without stopping the run.
1955 DCRC3PD railed high, adjust it's driver offset. DCRC3PC is still railed low with it's driver offset at min setting.
2115 Na source out for about an hour for calibration – take data at own risk
