Previous Day

Status: 600 mK rod re-installed, fridge reassembly in progress. All mixture recovered to dump. 1K Pot needle valve closed. Trap 1 and fridge pumped out. Cryostat vacuum jacket pumped out.
0905 On all the modified SQUETs, measure the tower-side QET to stripline-side QET return resistances. This is measuring through the shunt resistor.

The 10 mΩ case (ZC-74 pB) may be a bit of an outlier - should be higher than the 6.7 mΩ cases but it's about the same. Otherwise everything seems to fit the pattern, though it's not exactly linear.

1020 Assemble stack on Tower IT4 with G101c, copying setup from Run 61. DIB 1,3,4 → Tower face 1,5,3.
1120 Perform detector electrical check:

Problem with DIB 3, QET C is open (and QET B reads higher than last time).

1134 Opened up the detector to look at side 1, DIB3 (Rev C), and saw a broken wire bond. :( put the tower back into purge cabinet.
1320 Take G101c to wirebonding lab, replace bond on DIB3 Side1 Pin6.
NOTE: Pin1 is broken off of DIB3. We didn't notice this when doing electrical check earlier, so the measurements above are on the wrong pins.
1355 Finish wirebonding. Electrical check looks good.
1410 Reassemble stack on tower. Do detector electrical check:

1425 Solder LED wires to corresponding pins on side coax extenders for DIBs 1&4. Some were already soldered on from last time.
1435 Attach side coaxes, ST-3-3/ST-3-9/ST-3-10 → DIBs 1/3/4
1440 Begin Tower electrical check
1450 Found that phonon channels were shorted to chassis. The lowest resistance was DIB4 pC. The side coax on that side was screwed in tight to the detector - loosening this made the shorts go away.

1500 Find that DIB3 QET C is open again. Not the same pin as the one we fixed, though. Note that the DIB was not rigid in the housing, so it could be flexing from plugging the side coax in that's breaking the bonds.
1500 Check DIB3 Pin 5 again after removing side coax. Yep, it's open. Start disassembling again to remove detector.
1520 Bring G101c to wirebonding lab
1535 Finish re-wirebonding G101c DIB3 Side1 Pin5
1555 Reassemble stack on tower. Quick detector electrical check indicates all phonon channels good.
1610 Reattach side coaxes
