| Setup: DIB 1/3/4 → 3.2 MHz filters 1/2/3 → cable 1/2/3 → gender changer 1/3/4 → DCRC55(1)/33(2)/X(4) | |
Tower = 25.9 mK, Still = 0.060 mbar, G1/G2 = 182/166 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.716 K / 40 mbar. MB = 68.9% (predicted level: 72.1%)
Lab = 23.4 C, Humidity = 41%
Fill LN2 cold trap bath. Dewar empty, not sure whether it filled completely.
| Overnight: took charge-bias-scan data. Last flash occurred at 00:26 am. No indication of elevated tower temperatures after biasing. Actually it looks like a DAQ crash occurred. The 00:26 flash would have been after the 5th series, at -1/+1 V. /byseries contains 5 series starting yesterday at 17:41, with the correct amount of dumps. So it looks like the crash occurred during the cooldown period between 00:26 and 00:51. MIDAS web page is down. |

| As seen above the http process is not running. We'll try to kill then restart MIDAS. | |
Execute the kill script. This stopped most of the programs but not dcrc_driver, towerfe3, or triggerfe2. Try executing the start script.
This seems to have worked. Sequence has restarted itself. It appears to be taking data now. A new series has begun, 07170719_0849. DCRC Control shows bias of -1.5/1.5 V. Difficult to say whether bias was set just now or hours ago, so not certain whether we're in a good neutralization state. But probably it was set just now, and the sequence can continue normally.
Looking at BatViewer it appears that triggers are happening too frequently, very few pulses are in the right place.
Increase DCRC1 q[0] threshold from 45 to 100
Check BatViewer again, pulse rate looks reasonable. Checking previous series, the first 4 look ok - but the 5th one at -1/+1 looks like mostly random triggers. Possibly the noise state of DCRC1 q[0] changed.
Set Sequencer to terminate after -2/2V series(07170719_1015).
Flash detector for 30s.
mhttp seems to have crashed again. Repeating the above procedure restores it.
Realize that terminating the above sequence early left the detector biased. Turn off bias in odb and flash again.
Tower/MC/Coldplate = 26.6/30.3/184 mK, Still = 1.23 K / 0.065 mbar, G1/G2 = 188/173 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.71 K / 38 mbar.
Based on preliminary Charge Collection Efficiency results and phonon baseline shifts with voltage bias, decide on Side1/2=-/+ 2V bias for this detector.
Fill LN2 cold trap full.
|---|---|
Complete DCRC1PA IbIs at 2/-2 V bias.
Complete DCRC1PC IbIs at 2/-2 V bias.
Fill LN2 cold trap full.
Take short test series triggering on testSignal, with testSignal connected to DCRC1PA with 100Hz, DDSADCScaling=4
Begin test frequency scan sequence, “testSigScan_log.msl”. Not writing as cdms series, series numbers 7855-7885.
