Previous Day

Setup: DIB1/3/4 → 3.2 MHz filters 3/1/2 → cable 3/1/2 →gender changer 3/1/2 → HVConn 1/3/2 → HV 1/2 → DCRC55/DCRC33
1220 Most recent data series is bad, all DIB 2 channels gone
1220 dialed voltage down to 0V
1225 found out that all the data after 4/29 at 1900 has DIB 2 channels gone, this means essentially 17 out of 21 hours of data is garbage, very mad about that, how can I stop it from happening? This run probably can't tolerate such inefficiency
1226 ground the detector at the voltage source
1229 begin a 1 hr bake
1350 begin prebias at 65V
1358 dialed to 50V after prebias period
1401 took the voltage across TP1 and TP2, after a long period of settling (in which it monotonically increased from negative to positive) it “settled” around 5-7 mV, according to the formula this makes the voltage somewhere between 46.9 and 47.8V, but the measurement never becomes what I'd call stable, it varies in that 5-7 mV range
1412 got all the channels back on the SQUID tuning GUI, wait for the temperature to come back to base before starting run
1425 Start 19 1-hour data series of 1-sided 50V HV coincidence data with Frontend Gain = (20/20/5)/(3/5/2), OG = 4/2, QET biases = table from Apr 28, with 1000 beginning randoms, no flashing, and a 1500ADC bin threshold trigger on DCRC4 pA (TTL signal) Running OR trigger of NaI detectors with PuBe source on west side of shield. NaI detector C has 311 mV threshold and detector B has 288 mV threshold
1428 data looks good in BatViewer
1539 Fill LN2 cold trap full.
1539 Tower/MC/Coldplate = 32.8/30.6/188 mK, Still = 1.2 K / 0.110 mbar, G1/G2 = 232/220 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.692 K / 28 mbar. Main Bath = 57.5%. Boil off rate: faster than slow mode (predicted level: 61.8%)
