Previous Day

Setup: DIB1/3/4 → 3.2 MHz filters 3/1/2 → cable 3/1/2 →gender changer 3/1/2 → HVConn 1/3/2 → HV 1/2 → DCRC55/DCRC33
1203 Start LHe transfer (MB = 25.5%)
1208 Fill LN2 cold trap
1209 Tower/MC/Coldplate = 32.5/30.5/192 mK, Still = 1.4 K / 0.110 mbar, G1/G2 = 226/200 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.666 K / 24 mbar. Main Bath = 25.5%. Boil off rate: a bit faster than slow mode (predicted level: 27.8%)
1242 dialed voltage down to zero
1244 checked last data series (07170429_1112) and pulses look good still!
1252 shorted voltage to set zero volts by definition
1253 begin 1 hr bake
1257 bake is coming to steady state at MC temperature around 475 mK
1259 Finish LHe transfer (MB = 92.0%)
1418 begin dialing up voltage again to 65 V for prebias
1425 set at 25V (took a while because I first put the black voltage line into the “ground” plug on the power supply, instead of “-”)
1432 end prebias and set to 50 V nominal
1441 measured voltage across the test point, seemed to be monotonically increasing, even at the end when it was around 4.0 mV. Using that value I guess the true voltage is 48.24 V, but it troubles me that the value never seemed to settle, and I was over 10 minutes out from setting the 50V nominal voltage
1459 had to change a bunch of driver offsets to get channels back, they seem to be OK now, try to start a sequence
1500 base temperature back to around 32.5 mK
1500 Start 21 1-hour data series of 1-sided 50V HV coincidence data with Frontend Gain = (20/20/5)/(3/5/2), OG = 4/2, QET biases = QET biases = table from Apr 28, with 1000 beginning randoms, no flashing, and a 1500ADC bin threshold trigger on DCRC4 pA (TTL signal) Running OR trigger of NaI detectors with PuBe source on west side of shield. NaI detector C has 311 mV threshold and detector B has 288 mV threshold
1505 data looks good in BatViewer
