| The housing for the source holder will be situated above (farther from the tower than) the detector. So it will point to the center of Side 2. |

Can/should we install extra LEDs? The detector only has two, on each side of DIB1. As seen in the photo below there is a second source holder plate, which could be screwed to the top of the source holder housing. External LEDs could be attached pointing downward toward the detector. The light would need to go through the remaining screw holes and maybe around the edges of the source holder plate.
