| Setup: DIB1/3/4 → 3.2 MHz filters → cables 1,2,3 → HV board inputs 1,3,2 → HV board outputs 1,2 → DCRC55(1)/50(3) | |
Get setup for taking Noise data vs. HV bias.
Tower/ = 33 mK, G1/G2 = 167/148 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.71 K / 34 mbar. MB = 64% Boiloff rate: between fast- and slow-mode.
Fill LN2 cold trap bath.
Tuning QETs was slightly less painfull this time through. Bias Values recorded in spreadsheet
07161105_1328 – 0V noise data. 6 Anthony Dumps (1 min long). 52.4288ms = 65536bins. Driver Gain = 2
07161105_1343 – 5V noise data. (15 min long). Applied voltage 30 seconds after starting data taking. After 5 minutes, Vdet=4.5V. Taking data the entire time in order to do time-dependent analysis . 52.4288ms = 65536bins. Driver Gain = 2
Did a flash (standard UMN settings) … let's see how long it takes to get back to Tbase = 32mK.
Bkgd. Rate, even at 20Hz, is problematic (need ~1% passage fraction to make good PSDs), so plan to bite the bullet and switch to 32768 bins = 26.2144ms
07161105_1430 – 15V noise data. (20 min long). Went up to 15V (gradually) 5 seconds after starting data set. 26.2144ms = 32768 bins. Driver Gain = 2. Channels look good, but slopes are dominant … non-slopey traces might be non-existent
07161105_1453 – short data set with the voltage gradually decreasing across the detector from 15V to 0V, in case this becomes of interest. Driver Gain = 2
flashed
DCRCchB lost SQUID. Need to ZAP.
07161105_1525 – 30V noise data. (20 min long). Seemed to have lost DCRCchB. Also DCRC1chC is in TES oscialltion regime. For both: leave out of analysis. Went up to 30V (gradually) 5 seconds after starting data set. Driver Gain = 2
07161105_1547 – short data set with the voltage gradually decreasing across the detector from 30V to 0V, in case this becomes of interest. Driver Gain = 2
flashed
have been analyzing noise in parallel. At 15V, shot noise not seen. However, need to put PSDs in Power noise (W/rtHz) in order to see sensitivity. In A/rtHz, the DCRCs plu ~80mK Tcs bring us to ~1e-10 A/rtHz, so it may be th case that we are not sensitive to detector leakage currents less than, say, 0.5 pA, that is G23R leakage levels (0.25pA).
07161105_1607 . 0V data set while Tbase goes from 36 to 32, to make sure things haven't hshifted and to have 0C dat awith this new ~26ms trace length.
07161105_1616 – 60V noise data. (20 min long). DCRC3chC, DCRC1chC: leave out of analysis… especially DCRC1chC. Went up to 60V (gradually) 5 seconds after starting data set. Driver Gain = 2
07161105_1635 – short data set with the voltage gradually decreasing across the detector from 60V to 0V, in case this becomes of interest. Driver Gain = 2
flashed
07161105_1658 – 45V noise data. (20 min long). DCRC3chB , DCRC1chC: look suspect, particularly DCRC3chB. checking on these two after 14 minutes, neither seem to be intransition, and thus useless. Other channels looks OK. Went up to 45V (gradually) 5 seconds after starting data set. Driver Gain = 2
