2016/11/04 (Friday)

Previous Day

Setup: DIB1/3/4 → 3.2 MHz filters → cables 1,2,3 → HV board inputs 1,3,2 → HV board outputs 1,2 → DCRC55(1)/50(3)
Overnight: taking data, one long overnight series (07161103_2314), at zero bias, with driver gains = 2 instead of 8. Apparently we are triggering on DCRC1 pA&pB and DCRC2 pD with thresholds of 25/25/26. These seem a little high because the pulse viewer (in “listening only”) shows only strong pulses, not triggering on noise at all.
0810 Tower/MC/Coldplate = 33.6/35.0/216 mK, Still = 1.41 K / 120 μbar, G1/G2 = 170/145 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.71 K / 36 mbar. MB = 38.0%.
Boiloff rate: a little worse than slow-mode
0820 Fill LN2 cold trap bath.
0840 Checking pulses in the current run with BatViewer. DCRC3pB is railed. It was OK until the beginning of Dump 241, about 3:20 am.
Many traces have some really weird pulse shapes.
Also saw that in DCRC1 some time late in the series the “sample glitch” occurred: each 8-sample chunk is starting in the wrong place.
0845 Stop data series.
1455 Commence LHe transfer (27.0%).
1547 Finish LHe transfer (91.0%)
1615 Release pressure from main bath
1655 Release pressure from main bath.
1656 Start test data series with test signals in a couple of DCRC1 channels to see if the sampling glitch is still present. Run for about 4 minutes then stop.
1705 Look at some of the traces. The sampling glitch seems to be gone now.
1725 MB = 90.4%
1735 Fill LN2 cold trap full.
