previous day

Current setup: DIB1/2/3 → cables → 3.2 MHz filters → DCRC55/33/50. Overnight, Cf source in shield activating detector, detector baking
0936 Fill LN2 cold trap full. With tower temperature at 260 mK, stop flasing detector. Temperature quickly drops to 80 mK and then continues dropping more slowly.
0945 Remove Cf-252 source from fridge.
1009 Tower down to 32 mK after 33 minutes
1025 Tower/MC(H35)/MC sensor/Cold Plate = 31.5/26.1/42.5/162 mK, Still = 1.42 K / 0.085 mbar, G1/G2 = 155 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.72 K / 24 mbar, Main bath = 26.9%.
italicized temperatures from Fridge Out 1 cable are still elevated for some reason
1300 Check pB2 to see if it's flipped to upside down pulses overnight. It's still showing positive pulses.
1302 Power down DCRCs and install HV box with HV1=DCRC50, HV2=DCRC55. (ebox→cables→gender changer → 3.2MHz Pi filter → HV Box → DCRC
1340 150Hz noise noticed after powering up DCRCs.
1355 Set SQUID settings from 2015/08/14 values and QET biases with values from 2015/08/17.
Raise HV2pB's QET bias by 20uA in order to get good pulses (raise sensor from superconducting into transition region). Strange because the 2015/08/17 QET settings for HV2 already had a 10MHz filter in place when IbIs was taken.
1430 Commence LHe Transfer (18.4%).
1510 End LHe transfer (93.0%).
1525 Seeing very regular spikes on Qi. Frequency of 83Hz. Visible on Qo, but less severe. This phenomenon was seen before on 2015/08/17. Power cycling both DCRCs fixed the issue.
1530 Power cycle boards.
1550 Power DCRCs. Zap SQUIDs. Set SQUID/QET settings. 83Hz noise is gone.
1615 Attach voltage to HV jack and observe leakage current as a function of applied voltage. Trend follows that observed before.
1625 Place Cf source in shield near detector for overnight activation.
1630 Fill LN2 cold trap full.
1645 Set detector to bake overnight.
