- Lab Update
- Run 76 prep
- Recap from last meeting: re-wirebonded S104 Side1pF, maybe this fixed it
- CSE shop built a new lead collimator cup for the Am-241 source in the 2D source mover. Filed some bumps off the source mover housing to get it to fit.
- Desoldered 2D source mover motor wires from connectors and untwisted them in prep to make kapton flex cables for use on the tower
- need some intermediate connectors to do bench tests
- Realized 2D source mover is mounted upside-down from what we were thinking. New plan is to mount it pointing down at detector below rather than up.
- Testing new LakeShore resistance bridge for thermometry.
- Got it working in the old mode, one thermometer plugged in. Established communication with computer
- To use scanner we'll need wiring changes. Planning to remove old round military connectors from ends of fridge thermometer cables, replace with Dsub connectors
- Todo: finish 2D source mover wiring, test mover upside-down, set up cold and warm diverter boards for accessories, assemble tower, install
