- Priority Updates
- Lab Update
-
- Tower assembled and installed in fridge
- SQUET selection:
- for HV we've been using SQUET channels modified to reduce the shunt resistances. We have a set that works for 1-sided readout, but there are bad channels on those SQUETs
- We'd like to try reading out all 12 channels on this detector - so we'd want three SQUETs with all four channels working, and presumably reduced shunts
- We have three SQUETs with all good channels that we use for iZIPs - with no modifications
- Probably reduced shunts would be good for iZIP too. The original 20 mΩ was meant for mZIPs, with 10× higher normal resistances than any phonon channel we have now
- Starting wirebonding now, intend to have 12 good channels with reduced shunts.
- To do:
- Assemble and test HV board
- Wire warm cable for Goldman thermometer
- Wire diverter board for Goldman thermometer. Can we use the source mover board?
- Check CDMSbats channel maps
- 2-Sided HV readout - tests from 2018
- Noise tests with DCRC grounds broken at E-box. This increased noise dramatically. And also may have somehow damaged some SQUIDs.
- Run 74 analysis in progress
