Monochromator Runs of Gd-Doped Samples
These results were done as a continuation of data collected here. Data was collected on 2017/08/09.
Things to note
- In Figures 3 and 4, the 0% Gd sample is not from the same scintillator batch as the other 2 samples shown. This was because the control sample from the batch had both ends cut and the 2 loaded samples only had one end cut.
- In Figures 1 and 2, the 90mm point for the “cut rear” sample is 0 because the sample length was smaller than 90mm.
- In Figures 1, 2, 3, and 4 the behavior of the unloaded, uncut rear sample towards the center of the sample is not known, but it showed up on multiple runs.
