An Oriel 68830 Constant Current Power Supply) attached to a Xenon bulb mounted in an Oriel lamp housing was used to illuminate a 10cm long Kuraray Y-11 WLS fiber, as shown in Figure 1. The power supply was set to about 12W. The fiber was held in place by the monochromator input slits. A spectrum was taken with and without the fiber in place.
Notable differences were observed between the measurements previously recorded here.
