It seems the two modes of OF fitting (which over- and under-fit the pulse height) correspond to two modes of seeming “glitches” in the raw data. As can be seen in the below close-ups of raw traces, it seems that some bins are being stored 8 bins away from their proper location. There are two such modes, one where single bins are shifted later in time, and another where adjacent pairs of bins are shifted back in time.
