Run 6

Summary

Rn, Tc, Ic, and Am-241 data are taken on G41 DIB2. Rn and Tc are compared with that from UCB 75 Fridge and UMN Little Blue. The biases in Rn measurement by triangle wave IbIs are unknown, the resistance values should be discarded.

Rn measurement

Rn by IbIs using DCRC v1

The original table is at here . Ib sweep is from 1400uA to -1400uA.

A2 1.25 2.4
B2 1.33 -2.9
C2 0.36 0.2
D2 1.26 -0.1

Rn by triangle wave IbIs using scope

The original note is at here . The biases shown on the following plots have to be scaled down by an unknown factor, this the resistance values calculated are useless.

Triangle wave IbIs measurement, the bias was not calibrated correctly, resistances are not correct

Tc measurement

Measure 4 channels simultaneously

A sin wave of 100Hz, 10mVpp from HP3325A was sent down the QET bias lines. The excitation is 15uA peak to peak. Tc is defined as the temperature above which the output waveforms have stable distortions, not triggered by pulses. The original note is at here

A2 76, 85, 88, 83, 87 84

Measure one channel each time with more careful temperature control

A sin wave of 50Hz, 1mVpp from HP3325A was sent down each QET bias line at a time. The excitation is 1.5uA peak to peak. The original note is at here

Ic measurement

The original note is at here. The temperature control is still in open loop mode. Only a few points were measured.

Pulse data

We took some pulse data with a Am-241 source on DIB2, half a detector. Series #: 07100817_0102, 44 files 442239 events. The data is not processed yet cause we don't have the template.
