1000 Between around 6:30 and 9:30 pm last night the Goldman thermometer settled into a different pattern. Previously it had base around 92 mK with spikes every few minutes. The frequent spikes stopped and the base relaxed to around 72 mK. Now the base is around 69 mK and there are large spikes every couple of hours. Peaks are around 100 mK, except the most recent at 9:30 am shot up to 270 mK. Spikes are very sudden, then temperature relaxes with a time constant around 5 minutes.

1012 Goldman/MC/Coldplate = 68/45/154 mK, Still = 1.15 K / 0.130 mbar / 0 mW, G1/G2 = 163/151 mbar, 1K Pot = 50° / 1.64 K / 26±2 mbar, MB = 70.3%
1023 Fill LN2 cold trap bath
1115 Now watching MC thermometer. It's lowest value is 40 mK - not good. It's spiking rather regularly, 2 minute period, max 48 mK for most spikes. Overlaid on this every 5th spike is higher, max 55-60 mK
MC temperature for 1 hour
1235 Restart MIDAS (it was completely off), take a look at phonon channels. A little better than before actually, there seem to be pulses. But there are some terrible waveforms. Is this due to helium films? Could be problems in the SQUIDs, let's zap.
