- Lab in-personnel: Matt
| Status | Run 76 in progress |
|---|---|
| Setup | Cables 2/3/1 → diverter/nothing/nothing → Side2-readout HV CONN 1/3/2 → HV 1(L)/2(R) → DCRC50(3)/DCRC55(1), DCRC33(2)→HV control, NaI trigger signal → DCRCX(4) Lead/poly shield fully assembled. Boron-filled socks covering NaI detectors. PuBe source behind lead wall. |
| 1355 | MC/Coldplate = 29.2/156 mK, Still = 1.13 K / 0.110 mbar / 0 mW, G1/G2 = 118/119 mbar, 1K Pot = 60° / 1.54 K / 7.5±0.5 mbar, MB = 71.7% |
| 1400 | Fill LN2 cold trap bath |
| 1525 | Remove PuBe source from fridge lab, store in howitzer on 4th floor. Planning to do more Na-22 tests on NaI array. |
| 1540 | Tape Na-22 source to top detector in NaI stack, Det1. |
| 1625 | Start an NaI scan with Det1 with the Na-22 source taped to Det1. ./scanwindow -r0-4000-120 -w9 -v3. This checks the rates in threshold windows 120 ADC units wide, from 0 to 4000, with a wait time of 9*(10 seconds). (It actually takes ten 10-second measurements but it throws out the first because it's always wrong because of some weird daq bug.) |
| 1720 | Scan finished Put Na-22 source back in safe |
| 1730 | Bring PuBe into lab and place on North side of shield |
| 1740 | Start an overnight NaI array scan. Take separate PuBe scans for a set of detectors: 1-4 then odd-number detectors 5-23. Should nominally run 16hr20min ending around 10:15 am |
