| 1510 | Start building lead wall (lead stack) on West side of fridge (to shield detectors from PuBe gammas). Here's a photo from June 2018 and a diagram from March 2019. First the steel platform is set sideways on the fridge pillar bases, with wood and lead sheets under it, left from the last time. Then a steel plate, 3/16“ thick and about 12.5” by 23“ is set on top as a base for the 2x4x8” lead bricks. Final dimensions of main part of lead wall are 12x24x16“ (16” is the height). |
