| 1100 | Researched our SQUET situation. We want 12 working SQUET phonon channels all with reduced Rshunt. Decided that we can reduce the shunts on the iZIP-specific SQUETs if we want to (although it may reduce the band width?) |
| 1430 | Bring SQUET ZC-13 to wirebonder lab for modifications: reduce shunt on pA (so all 4 will be reduced), and remove shorting wires from pB. Wound up using wirebonder power 475/350, bond time 40/40. Scraped copper with hypodermic first. Used hypodermic to pull the unwanted wires loose and knock them off the SQUET board. |
| 1515 | Electrical check of all phonon-related lines on ZC-13. All good except pC Feedback reads open. (Note that this must have been working the last time we used this SQUET, Run73.) We'll investigate this further later. Could be loose connection in FET board or could be broken wirebond on SQUID card. |
