| 1550 | Turbo on CVJ = 30 nbar. With Turbo valved out for 1 minute, CVJ = 220 nbar |
| 1555 | Stop pumping out CVJ. Attach turbo pump manifold hose to IVC port |
| 1600 | MC(Cernox) = 285.5 K |
| 1605 | Check pressure in IVC: 0.4 bar on the mechanical gauge |
| 1620 | Start removing MB screws to lower MB |
| Removing the pit covers was not easy as a 1-person job. Used a long 2×4 board, slid it between both handles, so that the board extended to the concrete floor on both sides preventing the possibility of the lid falling into the pit. Then worked to get the lids out. The first one could be rested on the second, but taking the second one off was more awkward. | |
