1045 Continuing to try to seal leak at stripline elbow. Apply more Q-compound, try to smooth it down to metal surfaces. It forms a complete sleeve around the two knurled knobs.
Further leak tests
signal reported is rise above base, base~20 pbarL/s
1 m of tube length, through needle top of knob to North 15
1 m of tube length, through needle base of lower knob to North 23
1 m of tube length, through needle top of knob West, between knob and fridge insert 16
1 m of tube length, through needle top of knob to South 50
1 m of tube length, through needle base of lower knob to South 135
Push in more Q-compound on South side, more between knobs and fridge insert
1 m of tube length, through needle base of lower knob to South 20
blast 1 sec from tube top of knob around South 330
blast 1 sec from tube top of KF flange 530
that is surprising. Try tightening flange a little more.
squirt through needle 0.5 sec top of KF flange 38
squirt through needle 0.5 sec top betw KF and elbow 120
squirt through needle 0.5 sec bot of KF flange 3
squirt through needle 0.5 sec bot betw KF and elbow 21
this seems to rule out the KF flange, leak still seems to be at elbow.
1216 Matt leaves lab.
1254 Matt Fritts body temperature = 98.5 F
