2020/02/24 (Monday)

Previous Day

Setup Run 72. DIB 1/3/4 → Stripline 43/41/48 → Cable 3/2/1 → nothing/nothing/accessory_interposer → HV_Conn 1/3/2 → HV 1/2 → DCRCX(4)/DCRC55(1). DCRCs on overnight. No shield.
overnight: tower temperature falling at constant rate, 0.075 mK/hour, 1.8 mK/day
0940 Tower/MC/Coldplate = 56.5/31.6/196 mK, Still = 1.59±0.06 K/ 0.200 mbar / 0 mW, G1/G2= 246/233 mbar, 1K Pot = 2.11 K / 24 mbar. MB = 31.7%
1130 Adjust QET biases to get decent looking pulses. Most channels seem to have regions with strong oscillations, set QET biases above these regions. Adjust driver offsets so all live channels are around -0.9, inactive channels railed to the bottom.
1153 Start a 0V series.
Driver Gains = 1x, DCRC4/1 QET biases = (na/350/430)/(360/400/420) uA, Front-End Gains = (na/3/3)/(5/5/5)
1000 BOR randoms, trigger on DCRC1pD threshold = 6, baseline/sample length = 120/28 (standard 16/5), phonon pre-pulse 500 (standard is 500).
No sequence, just press Start on Status page.
1158 Data is getting stored. On BatViewer it looks like it's triggering constantly.
Increase trigger threshold 6→8
Tower temperature has gone down from 56.4→55.8 mK since I started adjusting QETs. Several were railed when I started, possibly some wer in bad states causing heating.
1200 Looks like new trigger setting is good, some noise traces, mostly pulses.
1244 Stop data
1248 Begin LHe transfer @ MB = 27.3%
1322 End LHe transfer @ MB = 92.6%
1655 Fill LN2 cold trap bath
1705 Got processing working. This data series is being processed to /data/chocula/fritts/data/k100proc/midasrq

Applying a high-pF cut and calibrating PTOF to the 60keV peak, it looks like the noise width is 0.38 keV.
