Previous Day

Status: LN2 transfer two days ago. Fridge passed throughput test. Electrical checkout mostly OK.
0950 MC(Cernox)/Sorb = 77.28/117.7 K
1210 Start LN2 transfer to main bath.
1212 MC(Cernox)/Sorb = 77.1/117.5 K, Level resistor = 1.354 kOhm
This is higher than we usually let it go. Try to move the resistor up and down to test if we're in the LN2 yet, can't really tell. The whole resistor rod seems to get cooled through contact with the bath port, which may be significantly colder than when we do the initial transfer.
1230 Set up webcam to watch level resistance. Stop LHe level webcam script in Matt's jiajin crontab. Use webcamAutomater.py to upload an image of the LN2 level resistor to the K100 status webpage every minute.
1232 MC(Cernox)/Sorb = 77.1/116.7 K, Level resistor = 1.350 kOhm
1230 Fill LN2 cold trap from small dewar.
1327 MC(Cernox)/Sorb = 77.0/115.6 K, Level resistor = 1.358 kOhm
1415 MC(Cernox)/Sorb = 77.2/115.7 K, Level resistor = 1.356 kOhm. G1/G2 = 580/533 mbar, went down a little since the transfer started.
Stop LN2 transfer.
