Previous Day

1014 Begin assembly of USD1 on the tower.
1035 Mark DIB1 (the dib with pin 7 connected to crystal ground plane) with sharpie. Mount detector with DIB1 → tower face 1, DIB4 → tower face 4.
1050 Install source plate. Can only get 3 of the threaded rods through easily. Should be fine. Install thermometer on top of source housing using threaded rod.
Figure 1: Shows the orientation of the source plates before it was installed on the detector. Figure 2: Shows the placement of the theomometer on the detector.

1159 Crap, it looks like there are a few broken wirebonds on these side coaxes. Remove side coaxes.
Side Coax repairs
1400 Set wirebonder to power 480 for copper pads, power 450 for resistor/capacitor pads, time 30/30, bond length 50 drop 10.
Spend about 2 hours trying to rethread bonder… tool had something stuck in it, wound up replacing with new one
1555 ST-3-9: gave up rewirebonding this one. Fixed qI feedback bonds, but tried replacing all qI bias bonds twice and still it reads open.
1600 ST-3-3: successfully fixed. All 4 resistors read 25 nS. Fixed any capacitor bonds that looked broken.
1610 ST-3-10: successfully fixed. All 4 resistors read 25 nS. Fixed any capacitor bonds that looked broken.

Cryo
1020 G1 volume had crept up to 35.8 mbar. Pump this out with scroll pump. Pump out Traps 1 and 2, each had crept up to about 2 mbar.
1030 Fill LN2 cold trap bath
1045 P1 volume had crept up to 32 mbar. Pump this out too with scroll pump. Down to 0.4 mbar in 25 minutes
1115 Start cryocleaning mixture through Trap 2 with V6=12.7%.
1120 Increase V6 → 12.8% to reestablish flow
1130 Increase V6 → 13.0% to reestablish flow
1145 Increase V6 → 13.1% to speed up flow, it was pretty low
1210 Stop cryocleaning, pump mix to dump.
1640 Remove Trap 2 from bath to let warm up
1650 Start cryocleaning mixture through Trap 1 with V6 = 12.8%
1715 Increase V6 → 13.1% to reestablish flow. May have been too much… G2 has risen above G1… but it went no higher than 690 mbar, seems to be relaxing. We'll leave it here.
1745 Stop cryocleaning, pump mix to dump
1755 Remove Trap 1 from bath to let warm up. Turn off 3He pump.
