Previous Day

DCRC calibration data taken yesterday may have been flawed. The square wave signal used as input from the Agilent signal generator does not appear to be symmetric. Will try it with the older Wavetech function generator which can't go to as low of amplitude, but appears to give a symmetric signal.
1059 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC3 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 30ADC, and ~40 mVpp, 20 Hz ~square wave fed in to QI from the Wavetech 182A function generator. Data looks decent.
1103 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC2 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 20ADC, and ~40 mVpp, 20 Hz ~square wave fed in to QI from the Wavetech 182A function generator. Data looks decent.
Stick a couple BNC attenuators on the Wavetech function generator output so we can get down to smaller amplitudes.
1135 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC2 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 20ADC, and ~10 mVpp, 20 Hz ~square wave fed in to QI from the Wavetech 182A function generator. Good data.
1139 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC3 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 30ADC, and ~10 mVpp, 20 Hz ~square wave fed in to QI from the Wavetech 182A function generator. Good data.
1141 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC3 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 30ADC, and ~2 mVpp, 20 Hz ~square wave fed in to QI from the Wavetech 182A function generator. Good data.
1145 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC2 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 20ADC, and ~2 mVpp, 20 Hz ~square wave fed in to QI from the Wavetech 182A function generator. Good data.
Now let's make sure we understand how the polarity of the pulse in BatViewer and data corresponds with the true pulse polarity. Use the Agilent function generator to feed in a negative exponential. This should only give 1 polarity of charge pulses.
1150 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC2 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 20ADC, and ~10 mVpp, negative exponential wave fed in to QI from the Agilent function generator. No triggering?
1153 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC2 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 20ADC and 5Hz randoms and ~10 mVpp, negative exponential wave fed in to QI from the Agilent function generator. No pulses observed
1157 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC2 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 20ADC and 5Hz randoms and ~50 mVpp, negative exponential wave fed in to QI from the Agilent function generator. Okay, now I'm seeing negative pulses in BatViewer
1200 Take DCRC calibration data with DCRC3 on the miniBob, QI trigger = 30ADC and 5Hz randoms and ~50 mVpp, negative exponential wave fed in to QI from the Agilent function generator. Positive pulses in BatViewer
