Setup: DIB1/3/4 → SL 27/19/20 → 3.2 MHz filters → cables 2,1,3 → HV board inputs 1,3,2 → HV board outputs 1,2 → DCRC55(1)/50(3). DCRC4 → HV power supply.
Tower/MC/Coldplate = 23.8/26.0/154 mK, Still = 1.3 K / 0.100 mbar, G1/G2 = 189/163 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.61 K / 24 mbar, MB = 68.3%
Fill LN2 cold trap bath.
As on Friday, DCRC3pC is a noisy mess. Also the Tower temperature is somewhat elevated compared to before the Friday floating-phonons tests.
Turn off MIDAS programs, then unplug all 3 DCRCs. Tower temperature falls to 21.6 mK.
Unplug cables at EBox, then swap the 3.2 MHz filters around. Then plug back in.
Repower DCRCs and restart MIDAS DAQ programs. Tower rises to around 22.5 mK. (This is about the same as before - it went down a bit with the LN2 fill.)
DCRC3pC is still bad. I was able to get all the other channels into transition. Some had to be shifted from their previous QET biases to avoid 13kHz oscillations - this may be a consequence of the somewhat higher temperature shifting the IbIs curves.
Turn off MIDAS programs, then unplug all 3 DCRCs. Disconnect DCRCs from HV box, we'll set up a 2-sided readout. Tower falls from 22.7 to 21.5 mK.
Setup: DIB1/3/4 → SL 27/19/20 → 3.2 MHz filters → cables 2,1,3 → DCRC55(1)/nothing/50(3).
Power DCRCs and start MIDAS programs. Tower rises to 22.7 mK again.
Zap DCRC1,3 SQUIDs twice
Look at the bad channel DCRC3pC for a while. It does not look like it has the same jagged, wandering noise as before. But it still seems to have problems. Tried tuning the SQUID, set it to much lower bias than before. Tried IbIs, seems to have a lot of lockpoint jumps. I see it go through the high oscillation regime - it seems to go into transition. But in transition any pulses appear inverted. There is some problem with the SQUID still.
