2017/11/08 (Wednesday)

Previous Day

Status: Tower removed. All mixture recovered to dump. 1K Pot needle valve open. Trap 1 and fridge pumped out. Cryostat vacuum jacket pumped out.
0915 Close 1K Pot needle valve (meant to do this while the main bath was still full of He, oh well)
1200 More fridge disassembly. Removed stripline end covers and buckle at bottom of middle IVC can. Removed middle IVC can. Removed the 20 mK can (for 150mm detectors). Removed the 100 mK can. Removed the stripline heatsink.
1255 More fridge work. Removed upper IVC can. Removed upper 100 mK can. Attach 600 mK rod to still plate (first polished the contact surfaces a little). Detached thermometer wire from spool - it was wrapped around halfway and held down with teflon tape and dental floss. Removed MC spool. Note: found a 10mm socket in the case with the drill. This fits in the nut driver. Useful for installing/removing spool.
1400 Disassemble SQUID card on SQUET ZC-74 and bring to wirebonder lab.
1430 Modify SQUID wirebonding on ZC-74 for DIB2 for G101c in Run 66, as per plan. Also noticed that the Shunt and Common wirebonds on SQUID A looked bad so I fixed them.
1450 Reassemble SQUET ZC-74 and do an electrical check on the SQUID card components - looks good, nothing broken.
1455 More fridge work: cleaned bottom of MC plate w/ ScotchBrite, tightened MC plate screws, replaced upper 100mK can.
1525 More fridge work: install upper IVC can. Both the top and the stripline tube flanges use 1.0mm indium for the seals (other seals are 1.5mm)
