Previous Day

1000 Finish tightening top IVC flange and stripline flange.
1015 Install 100mK can.
1030 Install 30mK can, feeding thermometer wire through machined hole in to of 30mK can. Notice that 30mK can and 100mK can are not concentric, smaller gap in Western direction. Caliper and square T measurements seem to indicate 30mK can is square.
1100 Install 30mK can rotated by 180°, cans are still not concentric, with smallest gap on West side, indicating either the spool or the 100mK can is misaligned. Decide to return 30mK can to intended orientation and proceed. Gap is not that small (~1/4 inch) and tower weight will likely pull it back true.
1145 After re-installing 30mK can, notice that tower thermometer wire is partially broken. It appears that 2 of the 4 wires were pinched while messing around with can orientations.
1300 After meeting with Vuk, decided to remove 100mK and 50mK cans and attempt to repair. Plan is to strip and solder 2
1520 Completed repairing the 2 broken tower thermometer wires. Plug in thermometer and check 4-wire resistance. Seems to be stable at 1.000(45)kΩ even when jostling, twisting wires. Continue with install.
1530 Install Am source and add kapton tape on electrode backs to protect against HV shorts.
1600 Assemble tower and perform tower electrical check.

1630 Reattach 100mK and new 30mK cans. Attach and seal up top flange of upper stainless steel 4K shield. Attach stripline buckle to bottom of 4K shield.
1700 Put up clean tent.
1730 Begin inserting tower into fridge. Connect tower thermometer, which reads 1.00034kΩ. Realize that detector cannot make it past the stripline buckle, so undo the buckle, raise the detector past this point, then reattach the buckle.
1800 Start screwing in MC Adapter Plate.
1830 It's in.
