Previous Day

Setup: HV mode, DIB1/2/3 → -/Switchboard PA&PB QET bias&ret off/Open → cables → 3.2MHz Filters → HV board → HV1/HV2 → DCRC55(1)/50(3), DCRCs off overnight
Tower temperature stable overnight
0855 Tower/MC/Coldplate =44.2/40.6/251 mK, Still = 1.09 K / 0.085 mbar, G1/G2 = 120/115 mbar, 1K Pot = 1.56 K / 2.8 mbar, Main Bath = 11.6%
0953 Measured resistances across different QET bias channels as yesterday. DIB2 PA→PB was initially low (~1nS) then, when measured a few minutes later, was 23nS and caused 3.4mK temp spike Remeasuring ~10min later finds 40nS and temp spike. DIB3 PB→PC gives 3nS, then 7.75nS ~1 min later, then 5nS, no dramatic temp changes. DIB1 PA→PB behaves similarly: initially 1.1nS, then, after measuring other combinations, rise to 7nS. All other intra-DIB QET bias combinations still low (~0.6nS).
1057 Measured DIB 1/2 QI/QO bias→ QET A/B/C/D bias conductance and found all to be < 0.07nS.
1445 Commence recovering mixture into dump. V1,6,5,9 open so pumping fridge from both sides but LN2 trap is isolated. Turn on mixing chamber heater to 20mW. Close off 1K Pot and turn off He4 rotary pump.
1450 Fill LN2 cold trap full so whatever's inside of there doesn't expand too much until we can get a look at it.
1500 Tower = 1.35 K and steady, G2 (dump) 320 mbar and rising, 1K Pot 1.9 K, P1 (Still) 0.2 mbar and flat, G1 (condenser) 1 mbar and flat
1600 G2 (dump) 680 mbar and rising. 1K Pot 3 K.
1610 MC temperature suddenly rises, P1 (Still) falls, G2 (dump) increase slows. Most mix is recovered.
1700 Tower = 11 K and rising, G2 (dump) 792 mbar and flat, 1K Pot 4.5 K, P1 (Still) 0.016 mbar and flat, G1 (condenser) 1 mbar and flat
1715 Close condenser valve, V1, V5. Close still valve and V6. Turn off MC heater.
1720 Close V9. Turn off 3He pump.
