Previous Day

940 Mixing chamber temperature: 233K. Lower the dewar slightly farther in hopes of speeding up warm up.
1100 Mixing chamber temperature: 249K. Turn on He3 pump and open V9. G2: 786mbar. Open Gate and Condenser Line Speedivalve. Perform throughput test. Throughput rate of 12.5mbar/min. We're fine. Either the blockage is in a part of the fridge warmer than what the MC thermometer reads, or it was oil that's become less viscous. (awesome! -matt)
1115 Pump mixture to dump.
1125 Close Gate and Condenser Line Speedivalve. Put cold trap 1 into the bath and fill LN2 cold trap bath. Commence cryocleaning.
1140 Raise dewar.
1215 Turn off mixing chamber heater. Still heater still on. Mixing chamber temperature: 253K.
1255 Even with scroll pump sitting in for He4 pump, Main Bath is taking an awfully long time to pump down. It's finally low enough to flush with He gas.
1324 Commence pumping mixture to dump.
1400 Close cold trap 2 speedivalve and valve 12B (keep V9 open). G1=1.5 mbar, G2=798.6 mbar, P1=9 ubar. Open Gate and condenser line speedivalve, and P1 rises to 0.17 mbar. Open V1 and V3; G1=1.5 mbar, P1=.22 mbar, G2=799 mbar. Open the coldtrap 1 speedivalve and aim to pull 100 mbar from the dump to circulate through coldtrap 1 and the fridgelines, to hopefully help purge any remaining contaminate. Open V13A and close once G2=700 mbar. Open V6 to 13% and start cryocleaning through fridge lines. Adjust V12A and V6 % levels as need to keep G1 and G2 from rising too steeply, while maintaining flow.
1500 After cryocleaning through the fridge lines with 100 mbar (G2 pressure) worth of mix, pump mixture back to dump.
1515 Mixing chamber temperature: 256 K. Close all IGH valves; G1=0.6 mbar, P1= .05 mbar, G2=797 mbar. Conduct throughput test, with G1 climbing to 714 mbar before stabilizing, and dropping to 55 mbar once V1 was opened. Throughput test again showed a rate of 12.5 mbar/min. Commence pumping mixture to dump.
1524 Turn off still heater.
1530 G1= .7 mbar, P1= 7 ubar, G2= 797 mbar. Close Gate and condenser line speedivalve.
1540 Close V6, and V1. Open V12A, V12B and both cold trap speedivalves to get remaining cold trap mixture to the dump.
1542 Bath is flush from before, and 3 mbar He exchange gas added on 2016/04/19 has warmed to become 4.0 mbar He exchange gas in IVC. Pump out 1K Pot and commence LN2 transfer. Mixing chamber temperature at 256 K.
1614 With G1 ~1 mbar and G2=797.5 mbar, close cold trap speedivalves and V12A, and V12B. Close V5 and V9. Use rough pump to pump out lines leading to V7, and the isolate pump from lines, with P2=.13 mbar and V2A and V5A are open. Remove cold trap 1 from LN2 bath and open V7 and V11A.
1640 P2=1.1 mbar and coldtrap 1 is no longer frosty. Pull cold trap 2 from LN2 bath and open V11B so that both traps are open to P2. Mixing chamber temperature currently at 220 K.
1705 Mixing chamber temperature at 184 K. P2 reads 4.0 mbar; open valve to rough pump to pump out both LN2 cold traps.
1745 Isolate LN2 cold traps from rough pump and insert back into LN2 bath. Turn off rough pump.
1820 End LN2 transfer, mixing chamber temperature at 111 K. Attach ping pong ball.
1830 With all valves in IGH closed, turn off He 3 pump.
1925 Mixing chamber temperature at 90 K. Detach rough pump from Main Bath/He Recovery Line and attach to IVC line in preparation for pumping out exchange gas (currently 1.4 mbar).
1940 Mixing chamber temperature at 88 K and IVC at 1.4 mbar. Commence pumping out IVC exchange gas with rough pump.
1945 IVC at 3.0E-2 mbar, switch to turbo pump. Isolate and turn off scroll pump.
