G101B in housing, USD1 in shipping container, plinth from Matt Cherry
G101b with one clamp removed. Each clamp has two spacers.
Spacers seem to be about 1/32“ thick, maybe a little thinner.
USD1 shipping container with plastic top removed. Mask is a 4-Q design.
USD1 shipping container with top ring removed.
No pattern on bottom of USD1.
USD1 on plinth.
Thickness estimated at 1 9/32” using ruler.
G101B removed from housing after all clamps on one side removed - flipped over by hand with clean wipe covering surface.
Thickness estimated at 1 10/32“ using ruler.

Since USD1 is not as thick, we will want to use fewer/thinner spacers. Need to reduce the clamp spacing by about 1/32”.

One document I've seen suggests that a standard spacer size is 0.020“, so that's probably the thickness of the spacers. So removing either one or two of the spacers on one side should get us about the correct clamp spacing.

USD1 and housing temporarily stored in purge.
outside of purge for about 2 hours
G101B temporarily double bagged

We used an air gun to blow off the surface of G101, to remove wirebond bits and other debris. No air gun in the clean room - we used the compressed air supply in the lab with a gun borrowed from the student shop and cleaned the surface in the clean room anteroom.

Then G101 was put into the shipping container that USD1 came in, double bagged, and packaged for return shipping to TAMU.

Went in to the cleanroom to get a look at USD1's wirebonding pads.
