Agenda
- Operations:
- Leak in dilution unit: fixed
- Redid the MC indium seal
- Closed IVC and repeated room-temperature IVC-to-dilution unit leak test: no leak
- Installed 6“ tower then cooled to 77K: no leak from dilution unit to IVC. That is definite confirmation.
- Beginning Run 60, 6” detector test
- throughput good, electrical checkout good, cooling to 4K
- Testing cdmsbats configuration so that 6“-mode data (single charge channel) can be processed
- Next run: first HV prototype test
- Current ETA is end of September. Fab at TAMU is finished, will be mounted next week and sent to SLAC for wirebonding, then sent to us
- About two weeks from now, Run 60 will need to be finished
- Wirebonding scheme, may not be able to access all side 2 phonon channels
- DAQ and data pipe
- Data storage and backup:
- Run 59 data has been copied to SLAC, need to set up a system for copying incoming data
- Need to clean up vuk1/vuk2 before they are retired. Emailed Angie, no response yet.
- Autoprocessing and data organization development:
- should work on implementing smart processing so that data with different configurations can be processed automatically
- should add more info to database, particularly since outside analysis manpower (TAMU, Noah) will be joining our analysis crew
- does it make sense for outside manpower to help with this stuff?
- Processing and Analysis
- Update on NSOF
- Should test whether resolution is improved with new filtering
- Then work on reprocessing old data
- Physics
- Low-energy NR peaks from neutron capture in Ge
