Agenda

  • Operations:
    • Run 58 cryogenic questions
      • Very slow cooldown
      • Tower base around 50 mK, circulation pressures low.
      • Should try to assess mixture amounts this run
      • Firsts this run: Soudan iT4 tower, USD1 detector, detector mounted by Matt. Don't know if any of this is relevant to cryo issues.
      • 1K Pot keeps running low, need to tweak open needle valve frequently - worsening problem
    • Run 58 data (USD1)
      • no breakdown seen at DCRC voltages (-13 V to +13 V)
      • taking voltage-scan data, also long runs to characterize deneutralization
      • need to figure out how to configure processing for 4-Q data, soon
      • would like to end this run next week
    • Future runs:
      • G106a, second HV attempt. Also phonon collection efficiency versus mu-metal shield height. Possibly test DCRC RevD with adapter board from UCB. May want to study phonon noise more.
        • Queen's people visiting lab during collab meeting, would be good to be running G106a at that time
      • 6“ contact-free (aka vacuum interface)
      • Sidewall source ?
      • Current project schedule has GeHV prototype test at UMN starting September. Then UMN becomes very busy with project tasks. (All rather hypothetical IMO. Presentation at SLAC workshop)
      • Looks like some tension in the calendar, need to look at this closely
  • DAQ and data pipe
    • Data storage and backup:
      • Copying old raw data (runs 53-56) to SLAC now. Procedures. 52% 64% finished.
      • Need to set up a system for copying incoming data
    • Code education - Matt, Nick, David to learn more about DAQ and processing code (Anthony is the only expert)
  • Processing and Analysis
  • Physics
    • Low-energy NR peaks from neutron capture in Ge
