Took data at different source positions. Impact ionization pattern looks pretty much the same at each position.

Investigating the “dropout” seen near the peak at 15V bias - measured leakage current. Noise is too high to take good data at the same time. But we did see a spike in leakage at the expected time of the dropout. Looks like current rose by about 4 nA when bias was applied, then spiked to 74 nA at “breakdown”, then relaxed back to base with decay time of 51 seconds.
